Your Team
This maximum Term Contract opportunity is part of our Line 2 Group Compliance team, which provides compliance support across all the CFS entities and business units.
Your Responsibilities
As a key member of the CFS Group Compliance team, reporting to Director, Compliance, you will partner with and support CFS business units to understand and manage their compliance risks and obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and assisting the CFS business to operationalise CFS's compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Being a trusted adviser to the CFS business to provide clear and confident advice and recommendations relating to compliance matters, including in relation to compliance policies, obligations and compliance risks.
- Reviewing and challenging the CFS control environment to ensure it meets compliance with the relevant obligations.
- Provide Line 2 compliance support to project working groups, business units and management committees.
Your Capability and Experience
- Extensive experience in a Line 2 Compliance function within the superannuation or funds management industry, and strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape.
- Experience in maintaining compliance frameworks, obligations registers and controls, and strong understanding of compliance obligations management.
- Ability to proactively identify, understand, openly discuss and act on current and emerging regulatory risks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex and senior level stakeholders with exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Commercial orientation balanced with proven technical expertise resulting in pragmatic and relevant business risk management outcomes.
- Ability to work in a transforming environment and adapt quickly.
