About the role
Our centre provides meaningful life skills training, preparation for employment and social opportunities for people who have an intellectual disability. Our aim is to overcome barriers to employment and promote social inclusion.
The Senior Manager Disability, Groups & Social Programs - known as Senior Manager Groups & Social Programs (SM GSP) at CatholicCare - is responsible for the operations management of CatholicCare’s Disability, Group and Social programs. The role provides expert guidance to support the delivery of sophisticated, and sector-leading social programs & activities, and thus provides integral support for the implementation of business growth strategies.
As our Senior Manager Groups & Social Programs, you will provide direct supervision, leadership and professional development for a diverse team of Social Educators, and Senior Social Educators.
With your strong expertise in the delivery of NDIS, social, and specialised cohort programs, you will assist the Director Disability Services to build team capability and capacity and support the delivery of highly effective programs to establish, maintain and increase independence, as well as creating connection, belonging, and purpose in the lives of our participants, by assisting them to achieve their goals.
In addition, as a highly experienced Senior Manager, you will ensure the sound financial management of our Disability Services, by monitoring program revenue and expenditure commensurate with approved budgets.

About you
To be a successful candidate, you will have:
Appropriate tertiary qualifications, including relevant trade qualifications or demonstrated relevant, and 5 years experience or more, as a Senior Program Manager
Demonstrated experience in independently managing complex and multifaceted services in both NDIS and private funding contexts
Significant experience working in, and strong knowledge of the Disability/Social Services Sector
Experienced in continuous improvement, CRM and process management, risk management (including Workplace Health & Safety), as well as a demonstrated ability to facilitate effective change and innovation
Commitment to assist our stakeholders to achieve their goals, while embracing diversity and inclusion of all people
Drivers licence and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Clearance
