About the Role
As our Senior Manager, Partnerships & Events, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's growth and influence through strategic partnerships and memorable events. Key Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to cultivate and maintain relationships with industry partners
- Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives and target markets
- Grow partnership revenue for our events and campaigns
- Oversee a team of events professionals and help guide their delivery and execution of a variety of events, including conferences, awards nights and seminars
- Ensure our events are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of partnerships and events professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
Partnerships Management
- Manage key corporate partner accounts and ensure delivery of all partnership contractual entitlements
- Support the commercial strategy and grow and diversify corporate program revenue
- Work with and develop a deep understanding of our partners business objectives – striving to meet or exceed their expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders
- Ensure partner renewals are conducted in a timely manner
New Business
- Identify new partnerships and partnerships categories
- In conjunction with the Manager, Commercial lead the new business activity of the commercial team acting as a first point of contact for enquiries
- Progressing appropriate prospects through the sales cycle from “lead” to “business won”
- Engage with all internal departments to ensure alignment with strategy and capitalise on opportunities
Other Activities
- Represent the industry and ClubsNSW at relevant industry events.

Your Skills and Experience
- This role will suit an experienced Partnerships professional with 5-10 years’ experience in partnership roles with strong commercial acumen
- You’ll have demonstrated successes in devising, negotiating, delivering and growing B2B and B2C partnerships
- You’ll have a degree in business or a related field
- Well-developed communication skills (interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and presentation) with an ability to think through problems and achieve effective solutions
- A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a focus on attention to detail
- A high degree of computer literacy
- Knowledge of the registered club industry would be highly beneficial but not essential.
