In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking an Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to join our Movember Fundraising team based in Australia.
About the role
The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships is our go-to Mo in the know for retained partnerships at Movember. They are future-focused on ensuring Movember works with partners to amplify our voice and deliver key health messaging to change behaviour whilst also achieving our partner's key objectives.
Partnerships are a key revenue stream and an area of growth for Movember. The team has a focus on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that meet the needs of a business, including employee and customer engagement, brand value, business relevance, CSR and well-being objectives.
Some responsibilities will be:
- Provides the Director of Partnerships and New Business with information on retained partnerships at Movember, including forecasting, strategy, and execution.
- Drives growth, revenue and participation in retained partnership portfolio.
- Is a point of contact, providing support, advice, and up-to-date information to their partnership & fundraising and development colleagues. This includes but is not limited to retained partner strategy and implementation, supporter research, and developing presentations and documentation.
- Ensures the CRM, Salesforce, is kept up to date and includes pipeline movement and prospect contact details.
- Assists fundraising & development team with inbound requests (phone and email) and is able to troubleshoot and problem-solve supporter’s issues.
- Is a Movember Brand ambassador, particularly for all external touchpoints – communications, attending events, etc.
- Increases public awareness of men's health issues and the work that Movember does to support these.
- Provides timely information to the team to support planned activities and other opportunities.
- Works collaboratively with other areas of Movember to provide and obtain information and collateral that supports the fundraising initiatives e.g Programs and Marketing.
- Ensures fundraising activity complies with regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
- Supports inbound requests (phone and email) from the Movember community and assists the wider team to identify, develop and evaluate new business opportunities.
For this role, you’ll need:
- Has a track record of taking initiative, working independently and being resourceful.
- Has a track record of working with varies partners from a wide range of sectors e.g. FMCG and government
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
- Good organisation skills, the ability to prioritise and manage several programs concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter/high level of internal motivation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Able to work independently.
- Proficient in research techniques, database management.
