Senior Manager - Sustainability, Innovation & Decarbonisation

About the position;
Senior Manager (APAC) at a Renewable Energy specialist decarbonization consultancy client in Melbourne, Australia, responsible for accelerating global decarbonization efforts through comprehensive engagement. Collaborating with companies worldwide, providing expertise in strategy, data excellence, digital tools, project delivery, and financing support. As a long-term partner, the consultancy facilitates the achievement of challenging carbon reduction goals, fostering a commitment to sustainability and accountability across portfolios. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex projects, origination new business, bringing differentiated ideas, developing new offers & bringing value to the clients.

The role must be performed in full compliance with the companies standards across Quality / Safety / Legal / Ethics  
 

Roles & Responsibilities;
Contribute actively to business development 
Contribute actively to client prospection 
Develop new offerings in line with market trends & clinet insights 
Oversee & coordinate proposal response activities from proposal delivery to contract finalisation 
Ensure profitability of the commerical offers 
Participate to oral presentation of proposals

Oversee delivery & drive value of several engagements 
Set project strategic direction & foster innovation 
Coordinate project streams & manage project managers 
Monitor project financials 
Monitor value delivery along project 
Intervene at strategic meetings & milestones for the project 
Provide convictions & recommendations to client ExCom  

Develop internal assets & capabilities 
Bring expertise for other client project, acting as SME's 
Develop best practices around internal knowledge sharing, pitching offers to other teams, sharing business insights with your team. 
Develop talents by involving in training sessions & mentoring people. 
Identify opportunities to develop internal capabilities & assets.

You have at least 8 years of professional experience 
You have at least 5 years of experience in consulting, advisory & sustainability 
You are a strongly aware of environmental issues & willing to contribute actively to sustainable transition, leveraging your knowledge of latest energy solutions & your business strategy skills. 
You have a strong advisory skills: capacity to drive innovation in your client projects, to influence strategic decisions & to provide innovative solutions to address client issues. 
You have strong project management skills. 
You have strong business strategy skills including financial analysis.
