- This part-time, 3.5 day a week Territory Manager role is responsible for the implementation of the sales strategy for Perth, WA in key accounts, in public and private hospitals in order to accelerate revenue & profit growth.
- The position is responsible for the budget of each hospital account as well as clinician training, in-servicing and product expertise to drive end user loyalty.
- You will have first line accountability for building awareness, usage and preference for these products in all hospitals, on territory, with key hospital-based stakeholders, being surgeons, infection control, theatre management, procurement, nurse educators, NUM’s and nurses. Even though you will sell in and around the theatre environment, this is NOT a case support or on-call role in theatre.
- You will drive the implementation of field sales and education programs to meet objectives in key medical end users and develop and execute business plans for your regions customers that align with key national strategies.
- You will achieve all customer visit KPI’s including routine sales call cycles, applying the company sales process.
- You will give constant field feedback of competitive industry/market data to ensure the company is competitively positioned for maximum growth and profitability and complete a monthly report based on your overall region by monitoring, tracking & reporting of accounts, identification of key issues, corrective plans and communicate same to management.
- You will identify key competitive activities including new products, pricing, contracts, trials.
- University degree preferred in nursing, science, business or relevant studies.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in medical devices/consumables, with demonstrated experience in the WA hospital sector, both private & public, selling in and around the operating theatre environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing sales and accounts in and/or around the operating theatre environment, however, this role does NOT provide case support and does NOT have an on-call component, however, if you are in a theatre sales role providing case support and are over the long hours in theatre, you are encouraged to talk to us. You will have a clinical and commercial approach.
- Proven implementation of developing & securing new initiatives.
