Our Data Analytics team partners closely with other business lines at RSM to deliver complex, analytically driven solutions to help our clients achieve sustainable competitive advantage through improved decision-making.
Data Analytics at RSM means working on consulting advisory projects for clients, helping our assurance teams deliver data driven audits, working with our other services line teams to ensure compliance with legislations, policies, and procedures.
We’re also in the business of improving how we do things internally, so there will be the opportunity to leverage your skills to run training courses, analyse various data, get involved in Robotic Process Automation etc.
We are looking for a Senior Manager / Manager within the Risk Advisory team in Perth. This role has extensive flexibility including working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior stakeholders (both internal and external) to understand their business requirements and identify their challenges, with a view to developing analytical solutions
- Actively participate in sales pursuits and business development opportunities for Data Analytics opportunities
- Deliver the complete lifecycle of Data Analytics projects including business development, proposals, client meetings, business understanding, data preparation, analysis/modelling, deployment, client presentations
- Using analytical and visualisation tools to access, transform, integrate, analyse and visualise client data to help solve real problems and identify real opportunities through identification of anomalies, unusual patterns and trends in data
- Clearly articulate analytical approaches and insights to both technical and senior business stakeholders
- Help in the development of analytic products, assets, and platforms
- Assist in the development of analytics capability within the Risk Advisory team and RSM more broadly
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Data Analytics role
- Experience managing a client portfolio, able to provide first class service in response to client demands.
- Strong attention to detail and prioritising skills, able to produce high quality work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience managing a team effectively; including performance management
- Degree in data science, mathematics or other similar disciplines
- Strong oral and written communication with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
- Experience in scoping and delivering Data Analytics/data management engagements
- Experience in the following areas: Data Mining, Predictive modelling, Machine learning; Data Management including Data Quality, Architecture, Modelling, Governance and maturity assessments.
- Experience with a range with statistical software, data visualisation tools and platforms e.g. SQL, R, Alteryx, KNIME, Python, Power BI
- Ability to articulate the commercial implications of analytic solutions
- Have experience of delivering analytics projects in both a consulting and audit context
