Reporting to the Marketing Manager, we are seeking a skilled and dynamic Senior Marketing Officer to join our team on a 12-month contract. In this role you will be responsible for the development of marketing and communications plans and campaigns to increase visitor numbers and attendance. With support from the Marketing Manager, you will also be responsible for working with creative, media, digital and PR agency partners as well as internal event and commercial teams to promote our events.
Key responsibilities of role:
- Develop and deliver marketing and communications plans, including social media, and tactical activities.
- Work with creative, media, digital and PR agencies to develop and deliver plans.
- Develop and deliver pricing and ticketing strategies.
- Assist in coordinating research to gain customer insights to inform plans.
- Budget management.
- Work collaboratively with all SAMSB teams.
Special Conditions:
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
