We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Receptionist to join us on a permanent full-time basis at our Ringwood clinic.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills, working closely with our team to foster a positive environment where everyone can thrive. Your support will be instrumental in achieving exceptional clinical outcomes and contributing to our overall success.
This support role to the Practice Manager, will be fundamental in ensuring the continual development of an outstanding local team and support the clinical services at the practice. You'll be working alongside a small front office team, with only two receptionists to oversee, ensuring the smooth daily operations and patient service delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Daily operational management of the front desk which includes but is not limited to general reception and administrative services for the clinic including answering phones, making and managing patient appointments
- Effective diary management incorporating consultation and testing appointments in line with utilisation targets, key performance indicators and administrative protocols for appointments, testings and hospitals admissions
- Effective management of the financial requirements of the site, including daily reconciliation, billing, banking and month end
- Drive a dynamic and innovative culture within the team where individuals inspire each other to continuously deliver exceptional outcomes and care for our patients
- Actively support the Practice Manager and champion clinic initiatives to drive culture, quality, efficiency and access to services.
Who you are:
- Demonstrated understanding of and an ability to provide superior patient care and stakeholder customer service
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading a small team by displaying and inspiring confidence in and demonstrating behaviours in accordance with Advara HeartCare’s values
- 3 year’s experience in the health professional industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant workflows for all cardiac testing and reporting
- Proven experience to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
