About the Role:
Senior Specialist Receptionist & Personal Administrative Assistant
As a full-time team member (optional 9-day fortnight!), you'll be the heartbeat of our clinic, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your role will encompass both front-of-house reception and general administrative duties, providing the perfect blend of challenge and fulfillment. What sets us apart? You won't be navigating this journey alone! Our large team of experienced receptionists, including both seniors and juniors, ensures you always have the support you need to thrive.

What Makes You Shine - Essential Qualities
- Must be reliable as our team and patients count on you!
- 2+ Years Experience: Your solid background as a Medical Receptionist in General or Specialist Practice is crucial.
- A solid understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
- Your ability to positively engage with customers and provide top-notch service.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work independently, show initiative, and thrive in a team environment.
- A high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Interest in Dermatology: An interest in dermatology, cosmetic medicine, and cosmeceutical products.
Desirable Qualities
- Familiarity with Timely and Shopify.
- Previous experience with Genie highly desirable and a working knowledge of Windows-based software systems.
Key Duties to Embark Upon:
- Be the welcoming face for inbound and outbound patients.
- Handle phone calls with courtesy and professionalism.
- Manage patient quotes, outstanding accounts, and Medicare submissions.
- Contribute to maintaining clinic cleanliness and assist with personal and business administrative duties.
- Handle cash, EFTPOS, end-of-day reconciliation, and lock up of the clinic.
- Tackle occasional inventory management, preparation of postal orders, and medical typing.
- Recommend products and services to build repeat business.
