Senior Medical Receptionist/PA to Surgeons

Silver Search Pty Ltd, a specialist recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Medical Receptionist on behalf of our client, a leading cardiology practice in Inner Sydney. This busy and reputable practice is renowned for its patient-centred approach and high standards of clinical care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working in a surgical setting to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to cardiologists and medical staff.
• Manage daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Greet patients and handle check-ins, ensuring completion of necessary forms.
• Assist patients with inquiries, providing information on services and procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage patient records and medical files.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
• Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance coverage 
• Assist with patient billing issues and manage accounts receivable.

You will have the following skills/attributes:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical practice or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Genie software or similar
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Drivers license to travel to other locations occasionally
