In additional (90%) you will act as an SME on transformative network projects and programs of work, collaborating with service partners and across various initiatives to ensure the implementation ongoing operation and optimisation of critical network systems.
Key activities
- Manage and maintain network and communication infrastructure
- Provide expert support and troubleshooting for network issues
- Ensure network security and compliance with standards
- Monitor and improve network performance
- Coordinate with service partners for network optimisation
- Act as SME on transformative network projects
- Configure and maintain Cisco ISE, Wireless, Fortinet Firewalls, and Cisco Call Manager
- Troubleshoot issues with key technologies
- Implement upgrades and enhancements
Skills and experience
- Solid experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance in a large-scale environment
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE - Enterprise Infrastructure/Routing and Switching) certification
- Proficiency in Cisco ISE, Wireless, Fortinet Firewalls, and Cisco Call Manager 12.5 or higher
- Experience working with complex network infrastructures and architectures
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP)
- Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
