ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Officer Facilities is responsible for maintaining day to day facilities management to support operations at each of AMSA's commercial sites, which includes 24/7 operations at select sites. You will be required to consult with key stakeholders and maintain appropriate documentation that complies with established procurement policies, practices, and guidelines to reflect best practice.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the day-to-day facilities management functions of a national property portfolio ensuring safety and compliance.
- Procuring goods and services in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and AMSA's policies and procedures.
- Managing 24/7 on call duties on a rotational basis within the team.
- Managing and or supporting minor works projects, as well as relocation projects.
- Managing the operation of AMSA's fleet vehicles.
- Managing the emergency management functions of a national property portfolio ensuring safety and compliance.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in facilities management.
- Experience in vehicle fleet management would be desirable.
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer literacy
