About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Senior People & Culture Business to join our highly collaborative team. Supporting multiple function portfolios, the Senior P&C BP will shape the strategic P&C direction. Working in direct collaboration with senior executives and their leadership teams, you will play a key role in the development and execution of GF's people plan. Your ability to make a strategic an operational impact will extend beyond the scope of Business Partnering, with the opportunity to spearhead the GF Diversity and Inclusion agenda. The design, development and delivery of initiatives will be created working with local leaders and our P&C centres of excellence teams in People Services, Organisational Effectiveness, Remuneration and Benefits, Employee Experience and Internal communications. An exciting and strategic focus area of our business, giving this role direct exposure and collaboration with senior executives in GF.
Specifically you will be:
- Strategic Business Partner: Have a deep understanding of the business landscape and consumer needs, driving people strategies aligned with the business agenda. Acquire business sponsorship for People & Culture (P&C) initiatives, ensuring alignment of people requirements and structures with business developments.
- Change Management Expert: Project manage and facilitate change, identify necessary changes for effective business development and address ongoing implications. Educate the business on P&C trends and embed policies to accommodate legislative changes.
- Talent Management Leader: Manage talent (PERFORM and GROW) cycles, including succession and career planning, to retain a high-caliber workforce. Identify emerging talent and engage Talent Acquisition to support internal promotion. Provide guidance on workforce planning and staffing issues.
- People Development and Diversity and inclusion compliance champion: design, develop and deliver Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, ways of working and act as SME for employment legislative changes in the space of diversity and inclusion
- Employee Advocate and Management Coach: Builds management capability for an open and inclusive culture, serving as a safe resource for unresolved employee relations issues. Coaches line managers on effective people management practices and ensures compliance and consistency in performance processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years at HRBP/P&C BP or similar
- Track record in influencing and driving a high performance culture
- Strong experience in IR/ER legislation across all states
- Experience in organisational development and projects to build capability
- Able to display excellent judgement, drive, and initiative
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management (essential)
- Experience in FMCG (advantageous however not essential)
