Our Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior People Reporting and Analytics Consultant to join our Sydney team. In this role you will support the HRLT, ELT and Board to measure and monitor progress against key people objectives and metrics.
Reporting to the Director of People Strategy, Insights and Experience, this role will be pivotal in enabling data-driven decisions, providing advice and solutions on key People metrics and operational indicators across the Group. This role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about data, but articulating the story it tells to help drive decision making.
Your key responsibilities will be across three pillars and will include but not limited to:
- In collaboration with the HR Operations team, ensure data accuracy through master people data governance
- Develop strategic insights through data analysis and planning
- Design and maintenance of the data warehouse to support provision of high-quality, real-time people analytics
- Manage the delivery of quantitative external reporting on people metrics, including the Mirvac Annual Report and WGEA compliance report
- Production of regular People Reporting including MD, ELT and Board meetings
- Production of People Reporting for Divisional leadership teams and key stakeholders as required.
- In collaboration with the People Connect team, design and implement data models and automated dashboards for HR and business leaders
- Build and maintain a database for investor and analyst queries
- Measure the impact of initiatives and identify opportunities to support the roadmap and strategy through data.
- Effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders and build on existing models with the aim to continually iterate and improve.
You will be professionally qualified with 3+ years demonstrated in a people data and insights role. You will have experience creating analytical visualizations using Excel and PowerPoint; as well experience working with large data sets and manipulating data from multiple sources.
You will be confident with data analysis, data engineering and problem solving. Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau and SQL are all highly desirable).You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to build trusting, collaborative, and effective relationships with stakeholders and challenge the status-quo.
