Senior Planner | Planning Engineer P6

Are you an experienced P6 Planning Engineer seeking a long term Perth based (SOR) temp contract in a Senior capacity, responsible for leading the Project Planning for engineering design, execution, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of a large scale expansion project?

About the role
The Senior Planning Engineer will be required to interface with the engineering contractor, as the ‘owner’s team’ Planning Lead. 

• Optimise project execution logic and enhance overall efficiency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Capital Project Planning
• Demonstrate proficiency as a subject matter expert in Schedule Risk Analysis.
• Conduct schedule audits of the EPCM/EPC contractor to ensure compliance with project planning governance requirements, including Capex and Opex.
• Work collaboratively with EPCM contractor’s planning and project control team.
• Develop project planning competency & capability frameworks for WesCEF Major Projects teams.

What Skill Set Do I Require? 

• A strong focus on safety and safe work practices
• Expert in project planning, providing crucial support for major capital project planning and decision-making processes.
• Extensive experience with Primavera P6 Professional, and EPCM environment in brownfield chemicals and/or oil and gas setting.
• Engineering Qualification or similar in Project Planning
