Your new role:As a
Senior Platform Delivery Manager, you are accountable for the end to end reliability, availability, enhancement and life-cycle maintenance for the assigned Digital technology platforms. You will be required to lead and deliver change for complex programs & projects impacting the platforms, whilst maintaining cadence for ongoing BAU change on the platforms in alignment with BAU resource allocations.
Key duties include but are not limited to:- Drive demand management, promoting early engagement with Enterprise Technology to assess technology impacts, dependencies and do-ability.
- Manage the facilitation of technology costs and timeframe estimates for input to business case and/or lean canvas.
- Pro-actively engage to create, prioritise, maintain, and manage backlog within the portfolio, showcasing scrum mastery and management of agile ceremonies.
- Utilise consistent agile practices across the portfolio to help shift the team from delivering technical outcomes to business value.
- Partner closely with Technology Services teams to orchestrate technology outcomes in line with defined priorities.
- Drive evidence based, pragmatic decision making - through the selection of appropriate and simple reports and metrics that provide solid data for informed decision making, such as business strategy alignment, cost/benefit, and cost/quality/risk.
- Operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities.
- Develop and maintain a technology release plan for the platform consistent with Technology Services architecture roadmaps and Member Experience Channel feature plans.
- Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Technology Services and the business departments.
What you'll need:- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree.
- 10 year's experience in managing highly complex technology projects and/or portfolio management, including applications and infrastructure experience.
- Strong experience in delivering initiatives utilising agile techniques and waterfall.
- Strategic thinking with proven experience in leading high-profile projects.
- Resilient, engaging and passionate about motivating employees to drive exceptional business and individual performance, and an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams
- Developed stakeholder relationship skills, including ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with staff from all levels of the Fund
- Keen interest and ability to explore emerging and formed advanced technologies such as AI and modern Data Warehousing
