The Role
Reporting to the Director of Project Services, the Senior PM/Program Manager will play a key role in driving business change and transformation initiatives within our organisation. This is not a technical project manager role; instead, we are seeking a candidate with experience in large organisational change and transformation programs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to implement changes that enhance organisational effectiveness and drive strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee business change initiatives and transformation programs within the organisation.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and reporting on program progress to stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilise Jira and Confluence to track program activities and documentation.
- Ensure effective change management practices are implemented to support successful program delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience in leading business change and transformation initiatives within large organisations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong project and program management skills, with a focus on delivering results within tight deadlines.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for program tracking and documentation.
- Operating model business change background is highly desirable.
- Ability to speak up and advocate for change initiatives while working effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire project teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables.
