Overview:
A growing specialist construction business seeking an Office Manager to support sustainable growth while overseeing the administrative operations of the practice. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen, human resource management, and proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting.
Key Duties:
- Manage the office and staff for a small team of professionals.
- Handle all accounting and bookkeeping tasks related to the business and associated entities, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain customer accounts and relationships.
- Prepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements).
- Process payroll for the professional office.
- Coordinate office workflow using online systems.
- Ensure all licenses, insurances, and documents are up to date and well-documented internally and externally.
- Update and manage the company's processes and manuals.
- Handle general office duties to maintain smooth office operations.
- Act as a personal assistant to the directors.

Experience, Skills, Qualifications:
- Applicants with moderate to advanced experience are encouraged to apply.
- A bookkeeping or accounting qualification is advantageous for this position.
- Proficient with online accounting software; experience with MYOB/XERO/ AccountRight preferred.
- Familiarity with online workflow management programs or willingness to learn.
- BAS agent certification advantageous.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
