The Enterprise team is transforming how Atlassian’s largest customers, who often are also the world’s largest companies, are adopting and deploying Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, and other Atlassian products across their organizations.
Within Enterprise, the Admin Platform team focuses on administrators as key stakeholders instrumental to Atlassian’s continued success with our largest and most complex customers. Our team’s mission is to build the centralized mission control that spans the entirety of the Atlassian product portfolio, help admins more effectively attend to the needs of their users, and set admins up to be Atlassian’s strongest advocate within their organization.
In this role, you will lead the definition of foundational building blocks that underpin the Atlassian “system of work”. Your goal will be to ensure that we have the admin abstractions to address the needs of our largest and most sophisticated enterprise customers while easing the administrative overhead and accelerating expansion for all customers alike.
You will work with product and market teams across Atlassian to ensure that these foundational constructs are consistently and broadly adopted across our entire product portfolio. In short, you will design the pieces that bring the Atlassian “system of work” to life.
This role requires an expert-level understanding of large and open-ended system design or platform design challenges and the ability to catalyze transformative, foundational investments across multiple organizations.
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
Product management experience at a SaaS company, ideally with a focus on administration or user management and content management services and tools
Track record of managing and shipping sprawling feature sets that depend on the effective collaboration of multiple product development teams
Technical depth to interpret complex customer requirements and translate them into the right set of foundational building blocks to support those requirements
Bias to action, sense of urgency, and commitment to clarity that makes you someone your team can instinctively trust and rally behind
Relentless customer focus – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning
Passion for navigating gnarly day-to-day decisions to help your team get stuff done
Ability to build relationships and influence without authority at all levels of the organization.
It’s great, but not required, if you have
8+ years of prior product management experience
Built a business case to fund a new product initiative
Fluency in systems thinking and/or large system design experience
Computer science or a related technical degree
