Job description

The Senior Procurement Officer position is responsible for developing medium and low risk good and services, ICT contracts and community services agreements. This involves developing, tender documents, procurement plans, evaluation reports, contract award documentation, contract management plans as well as consultation and negotiation with stakeholders.
The position is also responsible for contract administration which encompasses processing documentation for contract extensions, CPI increases and contract variations.
If you have strong skills and experience in contract development and/or management, with a proven track record in delivering value-for-money contract arrangements that deliver Departmental requirements and have a high level of personal integrity, professionalism and probity and ensure that all of our contracts comply with governing legislation, policy and departmental requirements, you will be a valuable resource to assist clients navigating the complex procurement and contract world to achieve value-for-money objective for the Department.
