This is a new role for a Product Manager to join a leading Payments company here in Sydney
The team in Sydney is responsible for the regional growth of the business and this role (Product Manager) will play a key part in maintaining and increasing the company's dominance in the ANZ market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with regional front-line and product teams to understand clients’ pain points and provide solutions.
- Drive business requirements to address pain points along with clear go to market strategies.
- Own user growth - formulating and implementing product growth strategies based on insights you have gathered.
- Leverage user growth tools and product incentives to drive new user acquisition and engagement.
- Drive the development of product content guides and sales pitches tailored to clients’ segments.
- Evaluate market and competitors for ANZ to identify emerging trends and support the continuous improvment of campaigns.
- Provide insights & drive implementation on cross functional projects, execute recommendations via gathering business requirements for tech builds, drafting of business requirement documents (BRDs), process mapping & re-engineering & project management.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of the cross-border payment landscape in ANZ with at least 5-7 years of working experience as a payments Product Manager and/or payments user growth manager in the cross border business.
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries, dealing with ambiguity and setting up internal networks to break down barriers and improve cross functional collaboration.
- Experience having independently driven market & client research, as well as the end-to-end development of BRDs.
- Proficient in data analytical skills with the ability to convert data into business insights and actions.
- Demonstrate ownership, commitment, accountability, and responsibility for the assigned business objectives.
- Self-driven, possesses strong interpersonal skills and keen can-do mindset
- Ability to speak Chinese is a must as many of the tech team are not English speakers
- Sydney office has a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in office per week
