Job description

On behalf of our client, a global business, focused on becoming the number 1 integrated green technology, we are looking for a highly motivated Project Lead who will be responsible for delivery of small streams of work that contribute to an overall Product Development Program.

Based at Redcliffe and reporting to the Manager Programs and Projects, the successful applicant will join a vibrant, energetic, and high performing team that priorities development of internal talent and capability.

The role of the Project Lead is to support the Chief Product Manager (CPM) and / or Project Manager in the following areas of accountability:

  • Project Planning | Produce and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timeline, budget, and resource
    allocation, for the area of the program you own.
  • Team Leadership | Provide day to day leadership, prioritisation and task allocation for team members assigned to your work.
  • Risk Management | Identify potential risks and blockers for your assigned program scope and ensure appropriate ownership and effective controls are in place.
  • Communication | Communicate with key stakeholders and team to ensure everyone has a clear understanding of progress.
  • Quality Assurance | Ensure that your project is delivered in line with internal and external regulatory and compliance obligations.
  • Reporting |Produce timely and accurate reporting .
  • Problem Solving | Proactively identify problems and facilitate the identification and implementation of innovative
    solutions to them.
Requirements
  • Australian Full working rights
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in project planning, including developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively, including providing direction, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources efficiently.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards project goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify potential risks and blockers in project scope and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and drive innovative solutions
