About the Role
This role will include assisting the project team meet the financial and contractual obligations of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation (MAPT) project in addition to the initiation and monitoring of project budgets, payments, contingency management, financial reporting and supporting the project control team.
About You
Key accountabilities will include:
- Regular and accurate reporting of the MAPT budget to the immediate team, senior management, stakeholders (including the Project Steering Committee and Board) and broader Government as required.
- Supporting Senior Project Manager or Project Director or Project Commercial Manager in setting up of projects within DV’s financial management system (PIMS - UniPhi), including budget initiations, budgets adjustments and transfers including entering of contracts and engagements, variations.
- Manage and administer accounts payable including processing invoices across the MAPT project to ensure timely payments to consultants and contractors.
- Review and assessment of project cost recharge claims from project stakeholders
- Appropriate budget recommendations to the Project Steering Committee(s) and Board when funds need to be reallocated or draws in contingency required.
- Appropriate and accurate reporting of potential future draws on contingency.
- Accurate forecasting and reporting of DV fees against budget
