Your New Role
Reporting to the Program Director, this role sits within our Member Operations team to lead and deliver large scale project outcomes for a Member Service Model uplift. The Service Model uplift involves setting up central internal capability to support internal member service functions. This includes functions such as knowledge management, quality management frameworks, workforce planning and continuous improvement.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Defines the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management.
- Creates a detailed project plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Conducts Impact Assessments of projects scope across Privacy, AML/CTF, Security, Data Governance, Business Continuity Management.
- Works with the business and risk to identify and mitigate project delivery and operational risks.
- Ensures the project meets sponsor expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy.
- Works with external parties to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes whilst building a strong rapport and trust, and facilitating a positive experience in dealing with the Fund.
- Monitors the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Monitors and controls performance against planning, providing reports to Steering Committees, and the Fund management as required.
- Manages scope creep through change orders, phased delivery or other methods to ensure projects deliver on timeline, scope, budget and strategy expectations.
- Uses sound judgment in all project communication and ensures that key stakeholders including the team, sponsor and management are apprised of project activities in a timely manner.
- Evaluates all key project deliverables, as well as final product to ensure traceability of. requirements, high quality and sponsor acceptance.
- Undertakes post implementation reviews and benefits realisation exercises as required.
- Demonstrated delivery experience of similar projects within mid to large organisations.
- Experience within/ understanding of financial services and/or superannuation is desirable.
- Skilful application of well-designed change management and communication processes as they relate to instigating and delivering on programs of change.
- Ability to formulate reports and to provide well considered options for deliberation by management.
- Significant experience in working under pressure, setting and manage conflicting priorities and meeting specified timeframes.
- A team player, willing to work alongside a highly motivated, energised and dynamic team and share the same passion and drive for member experience.
