The Psychology Department at Redlands Hospital is looking for a part time Senior Psychologist to join their team. The Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Management Clinic (PMMC) specialises in the assessment and conservative management of chronic Musculoskeletal conditions of the neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and foot. The clinic is led by experienced physiotherapists who assess the need for an Orthopaedic surgical consultation and develop a comprehensive plan to manage pain and disability which may include referral to the Conservative Management Service (CMS) - physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics and pharmacy.Job details Position status Permanent

Clinically, this position will provide both individual psychological assessment, diagnosis, formulation and interventions and contribute to multi-professional group interventions to patients experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties impacting on their experience of pain, quality of life and capacity to manage their musculoskeletal condition.This includes:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based psychology clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality psychology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
