Page Personnel is partnering with a leading ASX listed, resources company whose operations are in lithium, iron ore, energy and mining services. This client is looking for a dynamic, well experienced, hard working individual to join their team on a temporary contract with the potential to progress into a permanent opportunity.

Description

• Ensure the data contained in Purchase Orders is accurate and to an acceptable standard
• Expedite ordered goods to ensure they arrive within the agreed time frame and escalate where deliveries are late
• Guide end users in the correct use of the company P2P system to promote effective Purchase Order creation
• Develop effective working relationships with end users to promote high levels of customer service
• Resolve transactional purchasing queries in a timely manner
• Effectively communicate with the Strategic team to identify and promote compliance with contracted items
• Develop effective working relationships with vendors to promote high service levels
• Identify opportunities for improvement and promote a continuous improvement culture
• Assist Accounts Payable where required to resolve invoice queries

Profile

• Previous experience in Purchasing role required
• Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Professional Presentation and Demeanour
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt to new environments and be flexible
• Can work well in high pressure environment
• Flexible and willing to take on any task
• Positively contributes to team environment
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Full Working Rights with No Restrictions
