Robert Half Mount Waverley are currently partnering with some of our key manufacturing clients on multiple Purchasing Admin and Customer Service opportunities across the southeast and eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
The Role
To be successful in this role, you must be able to handle working in a high-pressure environment and be adaptable to the day-to-day running's of the business. Our clients are seeking highly motivated, customer focused individuals to join their teams to assist with the following:
- Inventory control
- Goods receipting
- Stock management - stock loss/damage discrepancies
- Coordination of stock takes
- Order processing
- Assisting customers with enquiries via phone and email
- General ad-hoc administration
Your Profile
You have demonstrated purchasing administration experience, with keen problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.
Key selection criteria include:
- Strong customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills
- Strong time management skills
- Equipment/machinery knowledge advantageous
- Equipment/machinery maintenance knowledge advantageous
- Forklift license a plus!
