We are assisting our Emergency Services client based South of the River who are seeking a Purchasing Administrator available to join their team immediately for a 4 - 6 week assignment with possibility to extend.
Working hours: Full time 38 Hours (Monday - Friday)
Start Date: ASAP - within in the next week
Duration: 4 - 6 weeks with potential to extend
Pay Rate: Approx $40ph - $45ph + Super depending on experience.
The role
- Management of purchasing / procurement inbox, Responding to purchasing email enquiries
- Onboarding new vendor's and maintaining vendor information
- Creating expediting purchase orders
- Accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders including reconciling any discrepancies
- Maintaining workflows and managing purchase requisition backlogs and settling overdue orders
- Ensuring the correct allocation of cost centres for all goods
- Ensuring the purchasing process meets all the obligations and expectations of our internal and external customers
- Liaising with the appropriate stakeholders to manage outstanding invoices
- Inventory management by way of accurate data input within operating systems
- Raising credits / PO Returns
- Additional duties such as assisting the Facilities team in scheduling in maintenance or part repairs when needed
The successful candidates must have:
- Purchasing administration experience is essential
- Experience in SAP or Finance one will be highly regarded
- Experience raising purchase orders and receipting goods
- Have the ability to pick up new computer systems
- Outstanding organisational skills
