The Senior Records Lead - Policy, Compliance and Risk will lead a small team to:
* Provide contemporary expert advice on records management practice, including development of policy and guidance materials
* Oversee compliance monitoring, assurance reporting and Risk management activities
* Develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationship with departmental and sector stakeholders
* Support the continuous improvement of the Department's records retention, storage and disposal processes
* Provide key strategic and operational support to the Manager, Records and Mail Services
The role requires a comprehensive understanding of, and experience in, applying the Public Records Act 1973 and related Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) Standards in a large and complex organisation.

A key aim for the team will be to ensure these Centres are supported to operate in compliance with public recordkeeping obligations, with high quality and timely policies, guidance material and advice. This role will also be responsible for leading a major review of the Education and Early Childhood Retention and Disposal Authority.
