Senior Risk And Compliance Officer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to join their team.

Your new company 

Our client requires a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to join their busy team for a temporary period of 3 months. This is with a government client based in Perth’s CBD. This position is open to candidates who have short notice periods. 

Your new role 

As a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Support the manager in governance, risk, and Compliance requirements

• Managing the organisation's risk register and working with staff to identify risks

• Assist with the development of a risk management strategy

• Support the development of the compliance management framework

What you'll need to succeed 

Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

• Previous experience in compliance, quality assurance, or audit responsibilities 

• Strong understanding and work experience within Risk and Compliance management 

• Experience of monitoring risk for a large organisation

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and regulatory requirements
