We are looking for a highly motivated Information Management Help Desk Officer to join our client, a leading local government authority in Western Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by providing exceptional support to end-users on their Content Management System (EDMS) – HPE CM9.
About the Role
In this customer-focused role, you'll be the first point of contact for staff enquiries related to the EDMS. You'll provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure users are leveraging the system effectively.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Providing user support and guidance on the Council's EDMS (HPE CM9)
- Troubleshooting system issues and resolving user enquiries efficiently
- Contributing to business development and improvement initiatives to enhance the user experience with the EDMS
- Ensuring adherence to the NSW State Records Act 1998 and associated legislation
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Records Management best practices
- A Certificate III in Records Management or Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
- Strong computer literacy and experience using various software programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of Records Management principles, procedures, and policies
- Experience with system administration of EDMS solutions (HPE CM9 preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- A passion for continuous improvement and user satisfaction
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- A professional and courteous approach
