The Role
This position is responsible for the daily operations and management of the company's NDIS support and service team. By creating and implementing a high-performance culture through efficient team management, the Senior Support Manager will promote, oversee, and manage the effective delivery of Dignified Disability Care services and guarantee that clients and customers receive high-quality care.
The obligation to satisfy quality, performance, profitability, and operational compliance goals for services related to Dignified Disability Care is the main emphasis of business objectives. This role will guarantee that plans are implemented that both maintain a high degree of contractual compliance and satisfy the financial and performance standards of Dignified Disability Care services.
Duties
- Possess a thorough understanding of the NDIS platform to guarantee quality assurance and compliance.
- Possess the ability to mentor, assist, and educate team members on all aspects within the NDIS framework
- Encourage and support your team of Support Managers to continuously improve through creative problem-solving and excellent customer service.
- Manage a client caseload as well as managing a team of Support Managers
- Support and coordinate the activities of the team to ensure services are coordinated and delivered in line with client needs and goals
Skills & Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS support, supervision, and guidance
- Extensive experience in providing senior leadership and management techniques to provide required outcomes including NDIS practise standards
- Innovative and strategic approach to drive and establish business growth and expansion of services
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- A demonstrated capacity and ability to lead, inspire, motivate, influence, and develop staff
- Highly developed software skills, particularly with regard to extensive experience with the Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of and expertise in applying the concepts of risk management and quality management
- Extensive experience in rostering and On Call procedures
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complicated guidelines, administrative procedures, and contractual and statutory requirements.
- Having overseen or managed a team for at least two years
- Understanding of NDIS billing procedures
- Having a current NDIS worker screening check, a working with children check,
- Sincere dedication to continual improvement and building a team that has integrity at its core
- Currently possess a valid driver's licence
- Have a clear understanding of the NDIS Audit process
