Our client, an industry leader in the wealth management space, is engaged in a major transformation program of work involving the separation and integration of business critical applications from recently acquired businesses.
The transformation team seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst with recent and lengthy experience in the transformation space to be a key team member and leader in analysis of business and technical requirements for for this program of work.
Key Responsibilities:
The Sr Tech BA will champion the business analysis effort in a single major program and across smaller projects during discovery, inception and delivery phase. The BA will proactively contribute to delivery through leadership of analysts and work in partnership with the Delivery Lead to manage team activities, deliverables and time lines. They will also actively collaborate and builds relationship with delivery partners and key stakeholders.
You Will have all or a mix of the following skills and experience:
- Partnering with the business (product owners/product management/End user) to understand, elicit, analyse, document, and communicate business requirements and articulate product vision with a strong focus on value delivery.
- Participating in the planning and analysis related to conversion of data and integration of various projects.
- Capturing and documenting technical and business requirements related to project applications. Modifying needs of the business requirements related to system applications.
- Assisting the business to define and own the value definition and priority of requirements and trace-ability.
- Translating end user/client insights into requirements e.g., epics and user stories; complete with acceptance criteria which can be understood by the development teams.
- 5+ years Business Analysis and delivery experience - preferably in the Financial Services industry and specifically Superannuation Domain
- Experience with business applications and technologies
- Previously worked on large, complex, and multi-stream projects
- IIBA CCBA/CBAP Certification desirable
- Experience with agile planning and tracking software (e.g. Jira, confluence).
