ING Australia are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract within our KYC Tribe. This position combines a client (both internal and externally) focused attitude with analytical skills and result oriented strategic thinking. The Technical Business Analyst will work within the KYC Tribe at ING and be responsible for ensuring business requirements are clearly interpreted into language that is easily understood by a technical audience.
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will need to capture, document and develop requirements into technical artefacts. In addition to this, the Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding business and developing functional requirements for data readiness, applications and interfaces from inception through to production.
What You'll Do
- Work with Solution Architects to understand IT strategy, principles and constraints to ensure business objectives and requirements are addressed in the proposed architecture
- Define local system, interface and archiving requirements to enable business processes and validate with business stakeholders
- Identify, analyse and breakdown data to find gaps and opportunities
- Work with Customer Journey Experts and Product Owners to ensure requirements are ready for development teams
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst across process analysis, requirements and detailed functional design
- Working experience with SQL and data - ideally you'll be able to write queries and document user stories
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to effectively apply different requirements gathering techniques and ability to translate requirements into system requirements
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills - the ability to think of the bigger picture and be proactive in your approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to communicate with an influence an array of stakeholders
