THE ROLE
Based at our HQ in Tingalpa, we are looking for a digital marketing Coordinator.
This role will have an SEO/ SEM focus while also providing Paid marketing support. The Successful applicant will report to the Head of Paid, CEO and work with the broader digital marketing team to achieve dynamically set KPIs. This is a great opportunity for someone to join our dynamic and efficient marketing/ e-commerce team. As this is a newly created role, it is a prime opportunity for someone to make their own an have their impact felt immediately.
The successful candidate will be working with the Head of Paid in scaling SEM spend while achieving pre-set performance deliverables. The person will also work closely with the Ecommerce team in refining existing SEO practices while being expected to present opportunities where SEO could be further improved.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Keyword Research and Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value target keywords.
- Analyse keyword trends and competition to inform content and ad strategies.
On-Page SEO
- Optimise website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for search engines.
- Implement schema markup and structured data for enhanced SERP visibility.
Content Strategy
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO goals.
- Create engaging, high-quality, and SEO-friendly content for web pages, blogs, and social media.
Technical SEO
- Audit websites for technical SEO issues and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO changes.
Link Building
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, partnerships, and content promotion.
- Monitor and removing harmful or low-quality backlinks.
Performance Analysing
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc) to track website traffic and user behaviour.
- Generate regular reports on SEO and SEM performance, highlighting key metrics and trends.
PPC Campaign Management
- Create and manage PPCadvertising campaigns
- Optimise ad copy, targeting, and bidding strategies to maximise ROI.
A/B Testing
- Conduct A/B tests on ad creatives and landing pages to optimise conversion rate.
- Make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Competitor Analysis
- Monitor and analyse competitor SEO and SEM strategies.
- Identify opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.
Stay Updated
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates.
- Adapt strategies to align with the latest SEO and SEM best practices.
- Communicate updates to relevant departments.
Communication and Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content writers, designers, and developers.
- Communicate SEO and SEM strategies and results effectively to stakeholders.
Budget Management
- Manage budgets for SEM campaigns, ensuring cost-effective spending and ROI.
- Track expenses and adjust campaigns as needed.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain documentation of SEO and SEM strategies, processes, and results.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or relevant experience
- Proven experience in SEO and SEM, with a track record of improving search rankings and SEM performance
- Paid Marketing experience in Meta, TikTok, Youtube, Snapchat etc
- Proficiency in SEO tools
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
- Google Ads and SEO certification is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, self motivated and driven to excel in what they do
- Desire to grow and develop their own skill set in our very dynamic and forward thinking brand
- Experience in the e-commerce space
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
- Must be collaborative, think outside of the box and bring ideas to the tab
