Due to growth at our Mudgee branch, WesTrac is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team.The successful applicant will be responsible for accurately estimate costs on jobs/projects for customers within the Mudgee region to meet applicable standards, they will also be responsible for managing scopes or work, including preliminary and final scopes for repairs, estimating times and supplies, quotation and completing variations. They will have a high focus with problem solving, developing standards, processes and procedures as well as continuous improvement that will continuously improve the service teams efficiency, consistency and productivity.This role is a great step to getting into WesTrac if you are looking for career growth and stability. It will provide you with exposure to multiple areas within the business as you will be building and maintaining relationships with the Field Service Supervisor, Team Leader, Leadership team, external vendors and much more.This position is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Analysis of rebuild projects to determine viability and implement a plan to deliver a successful outcome.
- Travel: Travel to customers sites across the region to deliver onsite customer consultation
- Estimating: Preparation of scope of work and estimates, ensure the pricing documents reflect special terms, conditions and assumptions.
- Quotation: Preparation of quotes, including those which incorporate subcontract work.
- Maintaining Standards: Develop and maintain a library of standard pricing, standard jobs, quotation data, and BOMs
- Customer stakeholder engagement: Actively engage with external customers to build strong relationships.
- Continuous improvement: Proactively identify processes that would benefit from improvements and lead and participate in appropriate actions.
- Trade qualification or similar Mechanical, Heavy Diesel, or Auto Electrician preferred.
- Experience with pricing and planning systems and tools including (MS Project, Smartsheet, Uptake, Excel)
- Proven time management skills

- Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships.
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
