The Role
We are seeking a Service Coordinator Administrator to join our Melbourne Airport contract delivery team to assist with coordination and administrative duties for our site service team, ensuring that all tasks are fulfilled in the most efficient and effective manner with a continuous improvement approach.
This role forms a key part of our service offering to the airport and offers a great opportunity to get involved in a unique and exciting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing client work requests in both Airmaster’s and the client’s maintenance management systems;
- Manage ongoing service jobs in both maintenance systems;
- Finalise jobs in Airmaster’s maintenance systems in readiness for invoicing, including job closure, time allocations, and service notes;
- Oversee the raising of service jobs and purchase orders for service personnel and suppliers and follow up as required;
- Dispatching both reactive jobs and planned maintenance jobs to technicians and monitor for timely completion;
- Preparing and maintaining after hours and leave rosters for technicians;
- Manage technician times, including overtimes hours;
- Apply and support Quality, OH&S and Environmental initiatives;
- Abide by Airmaster’s Waste Management Policy and promote environmentally friendly practices;
- Other associated duties and assigned.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a pleasant phone manner
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and office-based databases
- Be willing to undergo a national police background check
- Must be eligible for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Prior experience in a service industry would be advantageous
- Outstanding eye for detail, organised and able to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
- Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Maintain a professional image and possess good interpersonal skills
- Be willing to undergo a national police background check prior to employment
