Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.
Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.
We are currently looking for a combination of a project manager and a subject matter expert, who is willing to deep dive in to both the capabilities of the future digital dockets management system and the related business processes which it must facilitate and automatise, but at the same time as project manager keeping the implementation of the technology project on track to ensure successful adoption and maximal return of investment in the technology.
Duties & Responsibilties:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the business objectives and the end user deliverables of the "digital dockets management solution" project.
- Participate in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives as both Service Delivery Manager and subject matter expert.
- Understand and promote data quality and consistent data definitions to the business users of the "digital dockets management solution".
- Liaise with Leadership, Customers and Joint venture partners to fully understand data context and business objectives to be delivered.
- Gather, clarify, validate and document detailed interface requirements using best-practice requirements gathering tools and techniques.
- Gather, clarify, validate and channel business requirements and change requests of the stakeholders to the solution provider. Act as main point of contact during the implementation and early adoption phase.
- Follow-up and monitor the use of the new system to minimise opt-out/refusal of adoption.
- Identify problems, software bugs or other blockers, prioritise and liaise with the solution provider to resolve them.
- Responsible for the execution of site digitalisation initiatives, such as behavioural change, training and feedback management.
- Support the customisation of dashboards for Project requirements.
- Travel to sites when required to meet and support the end-users, including subcontractors using the solution on mobile devices.
- Degree in Computer Science Studies, Civil Engineering, Business Administration or similar is advantageous
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Service Delivery
- Real life experience with dockets, contract management and/or relevant systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience in Project management.
- Real life experience with transitioning to new systems with associated change management is advantageous.
- Real life experience with digitalisation of paper-based forms and processes is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Architectures (AD, AAD, Office365, SharePoint) - Medium
- Experience with any digital forms based system - Good
- Intermediate knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and building dashboards, i.e Power BI - Medium
- Familiarity with data warehousing technologies
- Basic understanding of Application Interfaces, APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
