- Salary commencing at $79,983 per annum pro rata, plus 11.5% superannuation (commensurate with experience)

The Opportunity
We have an exciting temporary position to work within Council’s Service Desk team. The role will see you providing IT support, guidance and advice for employees, Councillors and Contractors. This fast-paced customer service position allows you to perform your skillset whilst interacting with people of all levels within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service within all internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure requests that come through to the team are responded to and resolved in a timely manner within our service level agreements
- Manage IT assets such as laptops, mobile phones, monitors etc, making sure they are updated and kept secure
- Provide mentoring and training to assist Council staff with the effective use of Council’s technology, including hardware and software
- Acts as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for IT support
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with little or no relevant work experience, or lesser formal qualifications with relevant experience
- Previous experience with device/software upgrades and rollouts
- Demonstrated abilities in a support environment with a focus on customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to plan, prioritise and still achieve SLAs
