About the Role
The Carelink Service Desk Officer will ensure the day-to-day operations of the Client Management System (CMS), Carelink+, and be the first point of contact for Supported and Connected Living staff who need assistance with the system.
The incumbent will be instrumental in meeting reporting compliance with external government funders and empowering the system operators across the department to be Carelink Subject Matter Experts in their area of responsibility.
Under the guidance of the Digital Transformation and Innovation Officer, this role will contribute to system improvements and digital transformation work to prepare Council for the Commonwealth Government’s Aged Care reforms.
Skills & Experience
- A degree or diploma in community services with significant skills and experience in information systems support. OR
- A degree or diploma in Information Services with significant experience working in a community service organisation.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the support, training and reporting relevant to a Client Management System (CMS).
- Ability to communicate technical IT jargon in plain language when consulting with key stakeholders.
- Experience working in community or aged care services and an understanding of government funding, particularly CHSP, HACC PYP and HCP.
