As part of this expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Service Manager, a role which is central to our leadership team here in Australia.

The Role
This role would suit a motivated and dynamic individual who will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the activities of the service and maintenance teams. This will include supporting the creation of SLA's (Service Level Agreements) and identifying opportunities through interaction with the various business functions and sales units.
This includes:
- Supporting customer site activities to optimise productivity & minimise downtime
- Planning all maintenance work to align with plant & resource availability
- Managing the maintenance teams to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are scheduled & completed against completed tasks
- Developing & implementing maintenance procedures, plans, checklists & processes.
- Working with Management, to understand key issues, priorities, & actions to identify facilitate improvement opportunities.
- Supporting Service Level Agreement creations & follow ups
- On-site & Off-site service support if & as required.
- Maintaining customer relationships.
- Finding technical solutions using networks internally & externally
- Prioritising maintenance & activities so that high cost / high impact problems are addressed first & achieve cost effective maintenance outcomes.
Your Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum 5 years' experience as Service Manager or in a similar role
- FMCG background will be highly regarded
- Mechanical, electrical trade or engineering background
- Demonstrated strong people leadership skills
- Strong ability to build effective internal & external working relationships at all levels
- Effective communication & influencing capability
- Strong safety mindset in all facets of work
- Demonstrated analytical capability & an ability to effectively problem solve
