We are seeking a Service Manager to join UnitingCare’s Early Childhood Approach, partnered with National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). This position is full-time and based in Townsville with regular travel to the Mackay region, on a maximum term contract to 30th June 2025.
The Service Manager will provide visionary leadership for the Early Childhood Approach program within the designated services areas including; service area data collection and reporting; strong team leadership; line management and support of regional Service Leads; service model implementation; quality review and outcomes; ensuring financial sustainability; ensuring compliance with all contract requirements; ensuring safe work practices; maintaining linkages and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring goals and objectives are met as required and within prescribed time frames and parameters.
You will be required to develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the provision of services for the UnitingCare Early Childhood Approach in accordance with best practice early childhood intervention under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and lead and manage all aspects of the service to ensure that goals and objectives are met as required and within prescribed time frames and parameters.

In addition, you will possess the following:
- A Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Human Services, Psychology, Business, Social Work, Allied Health) including demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated experience operating in a service management capacity.
- Current drivers’ licence.
- Positive Blue Card
- Ability to use a private vehicle and manage tax reimbursements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and mentor effective staff teams working within established budget, direction and guidelines.
