Service Receptionist

Due to growth and expansion of Tristar Truck and Bus Group, we at our new dealership in Canberra, as Daimler Trucks Canberra are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Service Advisor/Service Receptionist to join our Service department located in Hume ACT. DT Canberra will retail the globally recognized products of Mercedes Benz, Freightliner & FUSO Trucks, which are the way advanced heavy transport industry brands. 

We have a dedicated and highly experienced Sales, Service and Parts teams within the group. If you believe you are eager to learn, ambitious, honest, coachable and have a passion for not only helping others but succeeding expectations, and looking for your next exciting, stable and successful career opportunity working with the most advanced heavy transport industry brands, this could be it. 

About the role:

You will report to the Service Manager whilst working closely with other departments to ensure a steady flow of parts and service to our internal and external customers.

• Keep service customers informed on the progress of the service of their vehicle;
• Verify all the customer needs have been fulfilled
• Actively contributing to the team to ensure high quality customer service is always provided

The ideal candidate:                                             

• Contribute towards a team environment
• Be customer focused and high energy, committed to providing an excellent customer experience each and every time
• Computer literate and comfortable learning a new program
• An excellent communicator and display good organisational skills
• Previous experience with service writing, invoicing will be highly valued
• Excellent communication skills and confidence
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail 
• Have strong time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Flexibility to handle multiple customer needs at the same time
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transportation
