As a result, we are seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to join our team at the Cranbourne office. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our office and the delivery of high-quality services in alignment with NDIS Quality and Safety Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Rostering: Manage schedules and rosters for team members, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Arrange Meet and Greets: Coordinate introductions and meetings between participants and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere.
- Weekly Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly reports summarising office activities and key metrics to relevant stakeholders.
- Follow Up on Referrals: Proactively follow up on referrals and inquiries, providing timely assistance and guidance as required.
- Answer Phone Calls: Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Daily Case Notes and Reporting: Review and process daily case notes and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from participants and team members to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Monitoring Office Emails: Monitor and respond to emails promptly, ensuring timely communication and appropriate handling of messages.
- Induction and Training: Coordinate and facilitate inductions for new team members, as well as organise ongoing training sessions to ensure compliance with NDIS Price Guide and Quality and Safety Standards.
Requirements:
- Qualification/degree in the relevant area desirable
- A strong understanding of mental health and NDIS guidelines is essential. Previous experience in a similar role within the mental health or disability sector is advantageous.
- Exceptionally high standard of written and verbal communication skills - you must have a professional, polite, and helpful disposition.
- Minimum two years experience in a health/disability administration role
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and good problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant NDIS software applications.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based at our Cranbourne office, operating from Monday to Friday, with work hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note that this role does not offer the option for remote work and requires on-site presence at our office location. Initially, the position will commence as casual with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.
