Are you an experienced Administrator looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organization and take the next step in your career?

As part of the Plant Operations team in Victoria, your role will be to provide effective administrative support to a service centre plant.  As the glue that holds the team together, you will enjoy rolling your sleeves up and using your initiative.  Based at our Altona site, this role reports directly to the Service Centre Manager and sits on the site leadership team.

Role would suit experienced admin person looking to build on their current skills and grow their experience.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing all round administrative support to the team
  • Providing reliable financial information in relation to equipment and inventory balances
  • Coordinating staff timesheets and entering data into the system for submission to payroll
  • Coordinating all purchasing including stationery, PPE, uniforms, merchandise, etc.
  • Maintaining relationships with agency sites
  • Providing administrative support for our safety and environment systems
  • Some accounts payable and data reconciliation, including stock and inventory balances
  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of all office based activities
  • Maintaining all filing and records for cost centre management

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision, using your initiative to get the job done
  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office ideal.
  • Strong communication skills with an aptitude to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people
  • Exceptional organisation skills and strong attention to detail, with systematic and timely follow-through
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and operate well under pressure
