McConnell Dowell Constructors are seeking expressions of interest from project Administrators to join our Construction team in Ballarat.
McConnell Dowell is the constructor within the Western Program Alliance (WPA) which forms part of the Victorian State government’s Level Crossing Removal Program. The Alliance brings together the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), V/Line, Arup and Mott MacDonald as design partners.
A key member of our Ballarat project team, this position provides general support to the project delivery team, Communications and Stakeholder team and is responsible for general administration and day-to-day running of the office.
This is a hands-on role which requires the incumbent to be adaptive and a clear and concise communicator who can build mutually respected relationships, both internally and externally.
As the project Site Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the project team with overall administration duties regarding the day-to-day operations of the office, including meeting support and coordination.
- Help manage logistics for a range of communications activities and events, including community information sessions, launches, letterbox drops, corporate events and public and promotional events.
- Assisting the Communications and Stakeholder team with responding to community and wider public enquiries in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with established protocols.
- Responsible for general project office coordination and ensuring the induction and integration of new team members is being managed.
- Ensuring all orders are completed correctly, the collation of delivery dockets, checking of invoices against orders and delivery dockets, and the preparation for certification.
- Adhoc duties as may be required by the project team.
