Our facilities efficiently process construction and demolition waste, with industry leading recovery rates. Our aim is to provide a direct alternative to landfill with a strong focus on what our customers need and how we can achieve the highest rate of recycling in WA.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as casual with a view to permanent (either part-time or full-time). We are looking for a candidates who are happy to work in job share roles, willing to assist with leave cover and be prepared to work ad hoc hours.
Candidates would be highly motivated, reliable, and punctual and have the ability to work rostered hours as well as on call, be available to start immediately and able to work between both of our facilities, Hope Valley based 35kms South of Perth and Waroona site based approx 80 kms south of Hope Valley.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager – Finance & Administration, you will be the first point of contact on site managing inbound and outbound material, ensuring accurate data entry, cash sales management, and administrative responsibilities for recording weight and vehicle details into weighbridge software, whilst also ensuring a smooth day-to-day running of the site administration office. More details will be made available to shortlisted applicants at interview.
The roster:
- Rostered shifts between 6.30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 6:30am to 12:00pm Saturday
- Hours and workdays can be negotiated with successful applicants.
- Ability to work at both sites is a must (Hope Valley and Waroona)
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Intermediate skills in MYOB
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Customer service experience
- Proven administration experience in site based environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management
- High level of attention to detail & accuracy
- Confident phone manner
- Positive and professional attitude with the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Previous experience in the waste management industry (Desirable)
