SMS Mining Services, a privately owned West Australian mining contractor founded in 2000, has evolved from equipment rental to encompass maintenance, contract mining, and drill and blast divisions. Our mission is to enhance our reputation in the mining industry.

The Opportunity:
Looking for a full-time role with an immediate start? SMS Mining Services are looking for an experienced Site Administrator to join our Pilbara based operations. Working in a team of three, coordinating travel arrangements, timesheets, mobilising personnel and general administrative duties as required.

Roster Available: 8:6 Roster FIFO from Perth
Role Located: Pilbara WA Region

About the role:

• Input of all maintenance data into AMT – SMU entries, raising work orders, closing work orders, saving documents and records
• Generate daily reports – Fleet performance, labour numbers, safety performance, etc.
• Processing of purchase requisitions and follow up outstanding orders with Purchasing department as required.
• Updating of work orders for parts ordered, and receipting parts in purchasing & maintenance systems.
• Maintain rosters and site register.
• Manage employee and contractor site mobilization, including accommodation and flight bookings.
• Coordinate employee timesheets for processing and assist head office with payroll queries.

Provide admin support to the stores department and maintenance planners

What we are looking for: 

• 2+ years' experience as a Site Administrator (essential).
• Understanding of OHS site requirements.
• AMT Software experience (highly regarded).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs, particularly Excel.
• Excellent problem solving skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical.
• Valid C Class Drivers Licence.
• Current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain (within the last 6 months).
