Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.

The Role:

Offered on a 2:1 roster from Perth, you will be managing the cost control function including project control reporting, from site. Your day to day will include;

• Review and consolidate project data, update and monitor cost curves and perform scheduling when required
• Support project reporting and package engineers on cost status inquiries and reports
• Track and analyse all costs across the business, consistently conducting regular reviews and audits.
• Review and adjust project control guidelines, procedures and reports
• Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed

Thrive with us! We hope you'll bring:

• Experience working in a mining & resource environment, ideally in a FIFO capacity
• Previous experience in controlling package cost from a portfolio type project environment
• Team player, strong forecasting and change management skills
• Excellent communication both verbal and written
• Ideally a tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Management and/or relevant discipline is beneficial
• Support project reporting and package engineers on cost status inquiries and reports
